The Time New York boasts a stylish location in the heart of Times Square, offering easy access to Broadway and dining. However, recent reviews highlight significant inconsistencies in room quality and cleanliness, alongside concerns about slow elevators and noisy environments. While staff service is generally praised, issues with facilities and room maintenance are prevalent.

A Stylish Oasis in the Heart of Times Square! ????? I had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Time New York! If you are looking for a hotel that combines a sleek, modern aesthetic with unbeatable convenience, this is it. The Location You truly cannot beat the location. It is steps away from the absolute best of Broadway, incredible dining, and the electric energy of Times Square, The Design & Atmosphere The design of this property is gorgeous—chic, contemporary, and incredibly stylish. The Service What really made our stay special was the outstanding hospitality. The entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff is professional, warm, and always eager to offer excellent local recommendations or assist with any request. The Time New York is a true gem in Manhattan.

The 1 bedroom suite on the 15th floor was excellent for my vacation. Great location near highlights & transportation access. The staff was wonderful. I would've appreciated a fridge & microwave in the room, but oh well, we made it work just fine. The restaurant is Seraphia which was a favorite from another trip & excellent. Turndown service for the extra bed (couch conversion) was a bonus. Ill be staying here again!

On the surface, the hotel looks nice. It's conveniently located to Rockefeller center and the Theater District. The room initially looked lovely. Nice sized, clean, etc. But it quickly because apparent that looks can be deceiving. There was no refrigerator (just an empty cabinet where the fridge should be, although the staff gladly offered me ice). No room safe. No bar or look to hand your towel or bathroom in the shower. The toilet paper holder was broken and the sink was cracked. The elevator is painfully slow and it's confusing about what's in the lobby and what's on the 2nd floor, like the checkout. My first day, I arrived back at my room around 11:30 and it hadnt been cleaned. Limited TV channels and the TV was set in thy mirror and nearly impossible to see, it was so light and the contrast was awful. But the worst part was the it was impossible to sleep. The walls are paper thin. I could hear phones ringing in the room next door, people talking in the hall, and doors slamming shut until late at night. In the middle of the night, the trash truck woke me up. Every single night. They claimed that they upgraded me, but to what, I'm not sure. When I checked in, another guest was complaining about his room. Which was a red flag also. I wouldn't stay at The Time again. It was not a pleasant experience.

It's a very, very bad experience. The room is awful; you can clearly hear the noises in the hallway and the other rooms, especially when other people close and open their doors. You can never get a good night's sleep. The room is also very small. Furthermore, the breakfast service is ridiculous. If you have two guests, they cannot have breakfast separately because the hotel only provides one voucher. When the first guest has breakfast, they collect the voucher back, so the second guest cannot have breakfast, and they refuse to accommodate that. The front desk is also ridiculous and rude. They cannot even accommodate simple requests.

Spent our first night in New York at another hotel, which was NOT as advertised. We were able to check in before 10am, enjoyed amazing customer service, and a very comfortable room. All of this directly across from the theater we will be attending this afternoon! Definitely will return.

I did not have a great experience at this hotel. I Stayed here for eight nights In one of the accessible rooms. Every time I would take a shower, the fire alarm would go off because they had a weird type of fire alarm And placed it right next to the shower. The temperature in the room would either be extremely hot or extremely cold with no in between. The windows Sweat quite a bit and got my books wet. I had given the time New York a deposit when I came In and they chose to not reimburse me because my Deposit apparently was used to pay facility fees. They also tried to charge me for snacks that I did not eat in the room And I had to speak with them over the phone about it. There are better hotels in New York that Do not play so many games. Also This place was quite loud at night When trying to sleep.

We loved our stay at the time! Perfect location for our mother daughter NYC adventure. Easy walking access to broadway shows, shopping at Rockefeller, and Times Square. 2 stops on the subway to go to Lincoln center. Such a perfect home base for our days walking around. Rooms were clean and well-kept.

I LOVE this hotel. The genuine hospitality and comfortable beds are honestly all I need. I love that although you're in a really busy location, it's not super loud. It's a cute tucked away boutique-y spot. It's sleek, simple and the food is fantastic. This is my go to here on out for both location and comfort. And they're SOO kind here.

This is not a nice hotel. Our room was not ready for check in until two hours after the check in time. The rooms themselves were not comfortable. When we finally got into our room it was 80 degrees and the thermostat did not do anything. The maintenance person came and told us that it's just how new York radiator systems work. If we wanted to cool the room, we could just open the window. The sink in the room was cracked, the headboard was worn, the electrical box in the bathroom was exposed because the plate was 1/4 inch from the hole in the wall. The location was good if you want to be near times square, but the hotel itself needs a lot of help. We were not the only people having trouble, the hotel manager was dealing with unhappy guests every time we were in the lobby. I would not stay here again.

Eric, the concierge at The Time New York - JDV by Hyatt, is truly exceptional. I just got off the phone with him while calling to see if there was any way to make my friend's room extra special for her 40th birthday celebration, and he completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we spoke, Eric was incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely excited to help. He went above and beyond with thoughtful suggestions and made the entire process feel effortless and fun. I honestly had such a great time talking with him that it made me even more excited for our upcoming trip, which says a lot, because I was already looking forward to it! Eric’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and personal touch turned a simple phone call into a memorable experience. If this is the level of service we can expect at The Time New York, then we are in for an amazing stay. Thank you, Eric, for making our celebration feel special before we’ve even arrived!
