I have never been welcomed so warmly or received such exceptional service at a hotel as I did from Gezennia. From the very first moment – even before I had officially checked in – she made us feel truly welcome and at home. The hotel itself is fantastic, but great service is what truly makes the difference. Gezennia went above and beyond in every interaction, always being kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. We honestly couldn’t imagine better service. Simply the best of all time. And also Special Shoutout to Joe and Ali, Both are super friendly as well! We will definitely be coming back, and on our next trip to New York, there is no doubt that we’ll stay at The Row again. A huge shoutout again for making our stay so memorable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We are still in the middle of our stay, but so far everything has been excellent. The check-in process was smooth, quick, and very well explained. A special thank you to Junior, who has been outstanding from the moment we arrived. He is incredibly friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about making guests feel welcome. His positive attitude and exceptional customer service have made a great first impression. Our room is spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. We are looking forward to the rest of our stay. My check in experience was great, thanks to Christina S. At the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful. My room had an amazing view and very quiet considering the location. Wish it had a coffee maker or fridge though. Location was amazing was able to walk to several things that I wanted to see. Hotel was very clean and rest of the staff was friendly

Fantastic stay from start to finish. The location is unbeatable; within walking distance of almost everything you could want to see, do, or eat in NYC, making it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and getting around the city. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was exceptional, from the concierge and bell staff to the bartenders, elevator staff, and the housekeeping team. Their warmth and professionalism made the hotel feel like a true home away from home. A special shoutout to Joe, AKA “Joe from the Row", who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. His friendly attitude, local knowledge, and genuine hospitality perfectly captured the level of service we experienced throughout the hotel. The property has also been recently renovated, so everything feels fresh, modern, and clean. The lobby is spacious, filled with comfortable lounge areas, and lined with large windows that bring in plenty of natural light throughout the day. The views from the room was also immaculate, as we were able to see the beautiful sunset of NYC each night. Between the excellent location, outstanding hospitality, great value, and beautiful facilities, this hotel exceeded expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City in the near/far future. Overall 10/10, highly recommend.

The renovated hotel is fantastic. Went on a trip with my 10 year old daughter and everything was wonderful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, good pillows and linens, comfortable mattresses, and the lighting and decor is a mood. The lobby is gives off a great atmosphere to hang out and we used it quite regularly. Location is exceptional, just blocks away from Times Square and many Broadway shows, without all the noise and chaos. I went for the optional breakfast and it was delicious, very filling, including flaky, buttery, croissants, quality Greek yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee. Well worth the price. After all that, I gotta say that the best part of the hotel was definitely the staff, so friendly and welcoming, from the front-desk staff at check-in to the cleaning ladies, manager and lounge servers... everyone has a friendly attitude and strives to make your stay better. I couldn't recommend it more. Thank you for everything!

STOLE OUR MONEY. Avoid. There are plenty of accommodations in the area. We booked a room for early November with a no cancellation policy. One week before our stay, we received an email canceling our stay. "We regret to inform you that the Row nyc won’t be able to accommodate your reservation due to unforeseen issues out of the hotel’s control." They tried to transfer our reservation to the Crown Plaza. We contacted the Crown all the way up to our stay and they could not find us in their system. Row canceled our reservation and failed to properly transfer us to the Crown. One month later, they charged our card and will not refund us per their no cancellation policy. We did not cancel this stay and are out $1149.03. AVOID. 8/18/25 Update: No refund issued to date. AVOID.

Place was good before 2022, since then has been an intake for vagrants and homeless. They sold their sole and reputation. I won’t stay here again along with the Rosevelt Hotel.

staff will just barge in your room no knocking nothing was having sex and staff thought they smelled weed in my room and just walked in and then charged me a smoking fee when it wasnt us

So the amount of rude sketchy security guards that don’t even let you check out this hotel says it all. I was staying at the W but I’ve seen this as an option on Expedia. I thought I’d take a look and as an older female I’m rarely taken for some scum bag but that’s how I was treated. It’s clear that this is a hotel where low life’s not only come but secure the property. Now I know never to stay here!

I walked inside with my mom after a show. Security came right up to us. I told him my mom’s blood sugar was dangerously low. He told us we had to leave. I repeated that my mom’s blood sugar was dangerously low. Completely uncaring, he kept barking that we needed to leave. If you want a bouncer instead of a doorman, this is the hotel for you.
