A perfect stay in a perfect location! Can't beat being right on 8th avenue! Hotel was fresh feeling and always bustling with activity. Booked an ADA room which had plenty of space and a wonderful view but, as always with large hotels, experiences may vary when it comes to room size and view. Beds were very comfortable and led to restful nights sleep. Also, the shower equipment seemed be installed a bit oddly but everything worked fine. While the elevator system is a bit odd (two different sets of call buttons, etc), they were mostly all working while we are there and only had to wait a couple minutes at most at any time. Though, it should be said, being on a top floor might make it easier to snag an elevator down during the mornings when people are checking out. Didn't drink at the bar but the space was lovely and was hosting US Open specials which was cute. The front desk staff was lovely and made things easy at check-in despite the line. Just expect to wait a bit as there's only 4-5 check-in desks at a time and this is a LARGE hotel. Already excited to come back next spring and stay at the ROW NYC again! In terms of affordability, cleanliness, location and accessibility to the subway, this place simply can't be beat.

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Times Square and just steps from Broadway, amazing restaurants, shopping, and subway stations, making it easy to explore everything the city has to offer. The hotel perfectly captures the energy of NYC while providing a stylish, comfortable place to unwind after a busy day. The recently renovated rooms are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and the staff is welcoming, professional, and always willing to help. Joe, the Manager here was the most welcoming person and made my stay so much better. It really pays off to have staff that cares about your experience and makes it a 10/10. Because of him and the lovely hotel rooms I will be coming back and staying here.

I had a wonderful stay at hotel Row NYC! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Location is fantastic. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The place was neat, the vibe was bright, a perfect place to rest at night. Joe was incredible!

Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was convenient and made it easy to get around. The main downside was the room size. We booked a double queen room for a family of four, and it felt quite cramped with our luggage. Also, one of the elevators was out of service during our stay, which led to much longer wait times due to the holiday weekend. The mandatory destination fee also didn’t provide much value for us, as we didn’t use or benefit from the included amenities. It would have been better if this fee were optional. Despite those drawbacks, the cleanliness, convenient location, and helpful staff made for a pleasant stay overall.

I have never been welcomed so warmly or received such exceptional service at a hotel as I did from Gezennia. From the very first moment – even before I had officially checked in – she made us feel truly welcome and at home. The hotel itself is fantastic, but great service is what truly makes the difference. Gezennia went above and beyond in every interaction, always being kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. We honestly couldn’t imagine better service. Simply the best of all time. And also Special Shoutout to Joe and Ali, Both are super friendly as well! We will definitely be coming back, and on our next trip to New York, there is no doubt that we’ll stay at The Row again. A huge shoutout again for making our stay so memorable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We are still in the middle of our stay, but so far everything has been excellent. The check-in process was smooth, quick, and very well explained. A special thank you to Junior, who has been outstanding from the moment we arrived. He is incredibly friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about making guests feel welcome. His positive attitude and exceptional customer service have made a great first impression. Our room is spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. We are looking forward to the rest of our stay. Highly recommended so far!

My check in experience was great, thanks to Christina S. At the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful. My room had an amazing view and very quiet considering the location. Wish it had a coffee maker or fridge though. Location was amazing was able to walk to several things that I wanted to see. Hotel was very clean and rest of the staff was friendly

Fantastic stay from start to finish. The location is unbeatable; within walking distance of almost everything you could want to see, do, or eat in NYC, making it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and getting around the city. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was exceptional, from the concierge and bell staff to the bartenders, elevator staff, and the housekeeping team. Their warmth and professionalism made the hotel feel like a true home away from home. A special shoutout to Joe, AKA “Joe from the Row", who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. His friendly attitude, local knowledge, and genuine hospitality perfectly captured the level of service we experienced throughout the hotel. The property has also been recently renovated, so everything feels fresh, modern, and clean. The lobby is spacious, filled with comfortable lounge areas, and lined with large windows that bring in plenty of natural light throughout the day. The views from the room was also immaculate, as we were able to see the beautiful sunset of NYC each night. Between the excellent location, outstanding hospitality, great value, and beautiful facilities, this hotel exceeded expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City in the near/far future. Overall 10/10, highly recommend.

The renovated hotel is fantastic. Went on a trip with my 10 year old daughter and everything was wonderful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, good pillows and linens, comfortable mattresses, and the lighting and decor is a mood. The lobby is gives off a great atmosphere to hang out and we used it quite regularly. Location is exceptional, just blocks away from Times Square and many Broadway shows, without all the noise and chaos. I went for the optional breakfast and it was delicious, very filling, including flaky, buttery, croissants, quality Greek yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee. Well worth the price. After all that, I gotta say that the best part of the hotel was definitely the staff, so friendly and welcoming, from the front-desk staff at check-in to the cleaning ladies, manager and lounge servers... everyone has a friendly attitude and strives to make your stay better. I couldn't recommend it more. Thank you for everything!

STOLE OUR MONEY. Avoid. There are plenty of accommodations in the area. We booked a room for early November with a no cancellation policy. One week before our stay, we received an email canceling our stay. "We regret to inform you that the Row nyc won’t be able to accommodate your reservation due to unforeseen issues out of the hotel’s control." They tried to transfer our reservation to the Crown Plaza. We contacted the Crown all the way up to our stay and they could not find us in their system. Row canceled our reservation and failed to properly transfer us to the Crown. One month later, they charged our card and will not refund us per their no cancellation policy. We did not cancel this stay and are out $1149.03. AVOID. 8/18/25 Update: No refund issued to date. AVOID.
