Perfectly located hotel and the staff does everything possible to make stay beyond awesome

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott Marquis located at 1535 Broadway. Called the day before for early check in upon arrival at around 12 noon. Hotel was near capacity and the staff still found a quiet room on the 36th floor. Remarkable view of the sunset, the Hudson River and better views of Manhattan than you get from the rotating View Restaurant at the top of this property. Early check in and late check out ( 3 pm) was much appreciated. Permitted us to catch lunch, a 2 pm show time. The late check out enabled us to again catch lunch, do some nyc stuff and catch our show at 3 pm. We left our luggage with the bellman and he had it waiting for us after the show. Bottom line. Perfectly located hotel, clean large room ( large room in a nyc hotel is as rare as seeing Haley’s comet) remarkable view with a staff that is equivalent to if not better than the view. To have a staff as cordial in a hotel with 45 floors and maybe 600 rooms is remarkable. I am a Titanium level Bonvoy member have stayed over 1100 nights at Marriott properties in approximately 60 countries and rarely find a hotel staff this accommodating.

The Marquis restaurant is located at the very top of one of New York’s sky scrapers which houses the Marriott hotel. It rotates, giving a spectacular view of the city below taking one hour per rotation (we went around twice). Service is excellent as is the food. Try the New York strip stray and follow with the New York cheesecake.

Amazing location and value for money

Very happy with our stay at the Marriott in Times Square. Location was perfect (not noisy), and spacious rooms. We booked a twin room and plenty of space. Service was very good. Heard reviews of slow lifts and being outdated, but that wasn’t our experience. Would recommend, and stay there again.

Spectacular hotel

We had the opportunity to stay at the Marriott Marquis over the holiday season. The hotel it situated right in the center of Times Square. In fact if you looked out our room window you see the New Year’s Eve ball! What an incredible view. We also had the opportunity to meet the hotels general manager George. George could not have been nicer. He is an outstanding individual. Marriott is luck yo have him.

This is our 4th or 5th stay at the Marriott Marquis in the 6 times we've bee in NY. Everyone was AMAZING!!!!! Starting with the reception, Leighton. He was friendly and accommodating (VERY MARRIOTT STANDARD). He made mine and my sister's families admission WONDERFUL; I convinced my sister to stay at the Marquis even after she had booked somewhere else. Dino Reyes, He is ANOTHER MAIN reason why we wanted to COME BACK to Marriott Marquis. His humble, WELCOMING, MAKE-YOU-FEEL-LIKE-YOURE-THE-ONLY-GUEST approach is superb and reflects through his staff. He was available even when he was off-duty; talk about loving his work and his guests. He helped me make a long awaited family reunion POSSIBLE at the Marquis and made it SPECIAL. I also met William (manager) at The View; what an awesome guy. He made me and my daughter not just feel welcomed but APPRECIATED. The WONDERFUL staff in Starbucks so FRIENDLY and a true joy to be around; AWESOME. The cleaning staff are so good. I assume they are working VERY hard because of the cleanliness of our rooms and the number of rooms you have BUT they have SMILES when you walk by them; greeting you very pleasantly. Esther was the one attending to our room #3239 but I a shoutout to Vanessa W because she attended to me when I needed something for my daughter and she accommodated us during her busy schedule; WOW!!!! About the building and it's accommodation now. The rooms are good sized, the restaurants are nice and have good food and options. The gym is VERY IMPRESSIVE; even having 3 Peloton cycles. I plan to ALWAYS stay at the Marriott Marquis every time I'm in NY (Times Square). I WISH I could EXPRESS my gratitude and appreciation more than this tiny excerpt. To any person considering to stay at a hotel in NY Times Square this is THE ONLY place you should book your room, 100%
