This Times Square hotel offers an unbeatable prime location just steps from entertainment, dining, and transit; however, recent guests report significant operational and maintenance failures including failing AC systems, security lapses mismanaged by staff, and rooms that are visibly dated and in dire need of deep cleaning.

While the location of this hotel is amazing, I cannot recommend staying here due to significant security failures and unprofessional management. The Major Issues: • Security Breach: During my stay, the front desk gave my room keys to another guest. Fortunately, I had the latch on, or they would have walked right in. When I called to report this, the Manager on Duty (George) was incredibly rude he yelled at me and talked over me, insisting their system "doesn’t allow" that to happen, despite a stranger literally standing at my door. • Poor Management Follow-up: I filed an incident report with the Head of Security (Richard was much more pleasant to speak with than the manager on duty), who promised a full investigation, but I have yet to hear back from anyone via email or phone. I spent the rest of my stay feeling unsafe and looking for a way to leave. • Maintenance & Amenities: The room quality was lacking. There was black paint splattered on the bathroom mirror from a poor DIY border job. The TV worked for one day; maintenance "fixed" it, but it went blank the second he walked out the door. • No Basics: Be aware there are no microwaves or fridges in the rooms. Plan to eat all your meals out or bring non-perishable snacks. Bottom Line: If you are used to higher-end hotel brands where you expect to be treated with respect and feel secure, make this your last choice. I felt like an inconvenience rather than a paying guest.

Room needed repainting and recarpeting due to stains. Bathroom clean and functional but shower was either very hot of freezing with no middle ground. Beds comfortable but duvet very thin which would have been fine if the heating worked. Air con seemed to run all night even though we set it at 78F. We were freezing. Husband spoke to front door and we were assured it would be fixed when housekeeping popped in but it wasn’t. Mentioned it again and were ignored. Managed to get it to be less cold but we all slept in our thickest clothes. We slept very bad every night as the result. Luggage storage solution wasn’t safe and needs improvement. One of the elevators stunk. Coming down with the suitcases c10am we had to wait a long time because of the demand for the elevators. I was told we needed to leave deposit of 400 USD at check in but online was 100 USD. Had to leave deposit on a card where I’ll incur fees. Billed resort fee at checkout on my fee free card but deposit still being held on the original card. I think I’ve been billed twice so please resolve it

This hotel is our vacation getaway and event overnight stay! The location is a great spot, only a few minutes from restaurants, event places and the train station. The customer service is amazing and ever since we first stayed in 2025, we have loved how welcoming the staff is. The rooms are always clean, welcoming and fully functional. We were offered an upgrade for a great price upon checking in and we were in love with the proposal, thank you Jenny for helping us with this transitions and welcoming us vack again! We highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay around the area, it's a perfect stay and we look forward to staying here in the future for many more occasions! The experience is extremely irreplaceable here and you will not regret it!

The Millennium Hotel Broadway was truly in the heart of Times Square! Although the hotel itself does not have a bar or restaurant, there are plenty of options available within easy walking distance. The hotel does not have a lobby to hang out in, but the staff (especially Erin) is very efficient at getting you checked-in and on your way to your room. The room was nicely appointed and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Our room didn’t have a refrigerator or a coffee pot, but Starbucks is literally out the 45th St entrance. We didn’t plan to spend much time in our room, so the lack of appliances didn’t bother us. The bellmen and the concierge desk were very helpful with getting taxis and making recommendations for all your food needs. We will definitely stay at The Millennium Hotel Broadway the next time we’re in NYC!!!

This a great Hotel in terms of the location, just in the center of Time Square, have a great view of the time square from the room. The bed was comfortable but the room are just okay type and don't keep your expectation too high and the service is just at minimum and don't expect they will address your concern (if any). The bathroom door lock was not working, the in-room coffee machine was broken and despite requesting for fix everyday at the front desk it was never addressed. Overall its a great place to stay in Time square only if you are ready to ignore all other aspects and just considering the prime location and enjoying the night vibe of Time Square at night from your room. Overall we managed to stay comfortably and enjoyed the view and location while compromised on service but in terms of NYC economy as per us it was a decent pricing for our stays.

I had a lovely stay at Millennium. My room was clean with good storage options. I love that it had nice chairs so I didn't have to sit on the bed all of the time. The bathroom has plenty of room and counter space. The location is perfect if you are going to see Broadway plays. I didn't have to walk far for anything. All of the people I encountered were very nice. The line was a little long for check in and I was still done in 10 minutes. I will definitely stay here again.

It was good enugh. Had minor issued, but didn't have time to report them. Rooms are OK. Heat was not working properly, the unit kept getting the room hotter even when the desired temperature has already been reached. Had to turn off the Heat completely and open the windows which of course meant having lots of noise. Walls seem to be thin, I got bothered by continuous alarms from the room next door every morning, listening up to 10 alarms in a single morning. The bathroom has no ventilation so humidity is doing damage to the bathroom. Ice machine on 29th floor was not working during my stay, I did told someone from the cleaning staff. I didn't tell anyone else about any issues because I didn't want to ruin my travel with unnecessary discussions or waisting time and the reviews I read before staying said that staff and manager were not helpful with issues. The location is excellent. The staff is nice, but didn't have enough interaction with them, and didn't really interact with me, didn't gave me any hints or information about the hotel during the check in. I may stay again based only on location, but it's just a room , nothing special about the hotel or amenities. There is no real reception space, just a hall. I paid about $850 for 4 nights in January. I wouldn't pay more than that for sure, but it seems it's much more expensive at other times.

Has not been renovated in 25 years and it shows. We lucked out in getting new beds and pillows that are really comfortable but the rooms are unbearably hot. It's been 27° during the day and our room has never gone below 74° with the system shut off and windows open. There is a state mandate that buildings must be heated to 68° in winter but this is ridiculous! We're checking out days early because it's unbearable. This is on top of the peeling furniture, worn out carpets and overall dinginess. I'd be ashamed to have this hotel in my portfolio and see why Hilton didn't want to be associated with it after 2021. There are no bellman and barely two people at the desk for check in/check out. Both procedures take a very long time on top of fighting for elevators during peak times. Rooms do not come with refrigerators or microwaves. The listed restaurant online does not exist and has not existed for years. It's luggage storage now.

Perfect location if you are looking to stay in time square. Great view!! Staff was friendly and attentive. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The room however, was awful. Our room type was oversold so they "upgraded" us and put is in the "penthouse suite" on the 52 floor. We were very excited... We walked into the room and it is very dated. Tears in the leather furniture, computer desk drawers broke!, TVs might have been the OG flat screens haha, no decorations/art so very stale feeling. It is definitely due for an update, which is fine and not the bad part. It also wasn't the cheapest hotel in the area, so I was surprised. Clearly paying for location (though the Knickerbocker is not much more, has great views and beautiful updates rooms). When we got in the room it was 75 degrees. Nice because it was 12 outside, but way too hot for sleeping. So we turned the temp down, made sure it was on AC and left for dinner. We came back and it was 85 degrees. The hotel was sold out so they couldn't move us. Said that they turn off the ACs in the winter. Which I suppose makes sense, but there has to be a way to bring the temp down in the room. They recommended maintenance come and open the windows. After an hour, they didn't show so I went back down to the lobby (because Noone answers the phone when you call) and they sent someone up. Opening windows on the 52nd floor seemed like a lackluster option but we went for it, which turned our room into a vacuum. The air was getting sucked out of the room through the door casing, causing a terrible whistle in the hall. We woke up to the room still near 80 and though the thermostat was off, hot air was coming out the vents.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of my New Year’s Eve experience, I feel it’s only right to share this feedback. This hotel does not meet 4-star standards—nor even 3-star expectations. We booked a Ball Drop View Suite, yet only received a partial view. While disappointing, this was not the worst part of our stay. The overall condition of the hotel and our suite was extremely poor and left us feeling uncomfortable. From the moment we stepped inside, the lack of upkeep was evident throughout the property, including the hallways and elevators. After speaking with management, we were informed the hotel has not been renovated in approximately 25 years. Given the amount we paid, this is highly unacceptable. This was, by far, the worst hotel experience I’ve had. Quite honestly, Fairfield Inn & Suites locations I’ve stayed at have been significantly cleaner and more comfortable than this property. If proximity to Times Square is your only priority and you’re willing to overlook poor conditions, this hotel may suffice. However, if you value cleanliness, comfort, and getting your money’s worth, I would not recommend staying here. **I attached some photos for reference but not as many as I would like due to the limited phot attachments.
